Create a whole new world - in a glass jar! In this workshop, participants will learn how to carefully arrange all the layers in your terrarium, which plants to select, how to position them, and most importantly, how to make it thrive. Terrariums can be themed with figurines.

beginner’s guide to indoor plants
This workshop will take you through the basics of growing indoor plants. Learn about what plants to grow, where to place them and how to care for them. We will also touch on plant propagation. Participants will pot up their own indoor plant to take home.

kokedama
A twist on indoor planting, this workshop will guide participants on how to make and care for their own kokedama. Originating from Japan, this ancient art involves binding a plant in moss and twine, transforming plants into mini works of art. Options available for one or two kokedamas.

succulent wreaths
Get a little creative with planting with a succulent wreath. Participants will make up a wreath with a mix of colourful and interesting succulents. They will also learn about propagating and how to care for their new piece of art.

Succulents are great plants for beginner gardeners – they’re easy to care for and there are so many interesting forms, textures and colours to choose from. Kids will love them, too.
Participants will plant up a small terracotta planter and learn how to care for their new plants.

This workshop will take you through the basics of growing edible crops in pots and containers. Learn what to plant, when to plant and how to look after them alive so you can harvest an abundant crop. Participants will plant out and take home a trough with a small selection of herbs and vegies.
